Our plans for our arrival date were cancelled due to the weather and we were able to checkin early. The pool was a bonus (it was closed due to Covid the last time we stayed there). Our room had a tub as requested for our kids, and it was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was stocked with Dove products (additional items available if forgotten- free from the front desk). Breakfast was excellent! Something for everyone. Staff were friendly and hospitable. Great stay! We will be back.

This is now my second time staying at the Holiday Inn at Port Elgin and I really love my stays here. The staff are extremely friendly and warm. There is so much lounge space in the lobby and restaurant area, and the rooms are incredibly spacious. The breakfast is so generous too! Love staying here.

Excellent breakfast with multiple hot food choices such as scrambled eggs / cheese omelettes, bacon, sausage (2 kinds), hash brown potatoes, waffles, pancakes, muffins, warm cinnamon rolls, assorted breads for toast, with juices, milk, cereal - all freshly prepared and delicious - highly recommended! 2 coffee / tea stations set-up with lots of seating available for larger traveling groups and families. Vegan options are available upon request.

The staff was very friendly and inviting. The pool was clean and rooms as well. Amazing contanental breakfast with a variety of options for everyone. The housekeeper we had on floor 3 was very friendly and also helped us with extra towels and pillows when we asked and asked if there was anything else she could help us with. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. We also liked that we could also use the BBQ that is on site as well. Which helped with keeping our cost down while on vacation with the family. We also like that there was alot of beachs to go to within less then a hour away and one just down the road for the hotel in Port elgin which had a small park, volleyball courts, flushable washrooms, showers and live entertainment on the Sunday We stayed. The beach was also sandy and not rocky like goderich.

Breakfast was great, real food, fresh, great selection. beds were comfortable. washrooms had grab bars for those who needed them. Like that they don't have small shampoo and soap. Reduce waste and plastic. Everything was very clean. Staff friendly.

Breakfast was phenomenal. We were late to the complimentary breakfast but the fantastic employee named Guy catered to our every need providing us with to go boxes and leaving all the food out until we were finished. He poured our juice and was incredibly kind. The pool was very nice.

Great staff! A good place to stay and all facilities were just too good. The room was good too however there was no streaming of Netflix, Prime etc.. They could use upgrading their televisions to Smart TV

The staff were so nice , the hotel is great with a pool and a really nice lounge . The drinks are cheap and the bartender is wonderful ! Jen at the front desk was exceptional handling our crew for new years , even the gentleman at the end of night when we got back greeted us and was so kind ! We will be back
